This policy covers the Joey Cash website and the Joey Cash application. It is written to be read, not to be defensible — if anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it and then fix the wording.
What we hold, and why
If you only browse this website, we hold nothing that identifies you. There is no advertising network on this site, no third-party tracking script, and no cookie that follows you elsewhere.
If you contact us, we hold what you typed into the form: your name, email, phone number, business name and message. We hold it so we can reply to you.
If you subscribe, we hold your account email, your business details, your subscription record, your payment references, and the payment proof you upload so we can verify your transfer.
If you use the application, we hold your business’s own data — your products, orders, customers, staff records and financial entries. That data is yours. We process it to run the service and for no other purpose. We do not sell it, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to train anything.
Where it lives
Everything is stored in Google Firebase. Data is held on Google Cloud infrastructure, and Google acts as our data processor.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: two years, then deleted.
- Subscription and payment records: seven years, because tax law requires it.
- Your business’s data: for as long as your subscription is active, and for 90 days after it ends so you can come back or export it. After 90 days it is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Send you a copy of everything we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your account and your data.
- Export your business’s data in a format you can use elsewhere. We will not charge you for this and we will not make it difficult — your data is not a hostage.
Email us and we will action it within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Cookies and local storage
This website stores three things in your browser, all of them preferences you set yourself: your theme, your accent colour and whether you turned on the lighter-visuals mode. None of them identify you, none of them are sent to a server, and clearing your browser data removes them.
The application stores your sign-in session, and — when you are working offline — the orders waiting to be sent. Both are necessary for the app to function.
Analytics
We measure page views to know which pages are useful. We do not use a third-party analytics service that builds a profile of you across other websites.
Children
Joey Cash is a business tool and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will tell subscribers by email before the change takes effect. The date at the top of this page is always the date of the current version.
